Etude House Dear Darling Tint in #2 Real Red and #3 Orange Red Review

Sorry for not posting for so looooooong~  It's been very busy lately since the semester is ending soon which means lots of assignments and tests are coming!!!  TnT...  So, today I gonna review the mother/ancestor of lip tint!  Guess some of you might know what product is that^^  Yup! It's Etude House Dear Darling Tint!

Those I have are #2 Real Red and #3 Orange Red.  I was actually looking for their new shade --- Vampire Red, BUT unluckily the Etude House Malaysia has not yet bring in this shade.  It's sad that Etude House Malaysia always bring in the new products slower than the other Asian countries.  *sobs sobs*

I have always want to try this lip tint as it is formulated in gel/jelly form which is very rare in lip products.  Even after it came out years, still it is one of the all time best seller of Etude House!  Guess it worth for a try :)
I got mine from a buy 1 free 1 promotion.  *sparks*

Price: 4,000 won / RM25.90 (since there was a Buy 1 Free 1 sales, approx. RM13 each) / 4.5g
***hopefully I didn't get the Msia's price wrong as I had lost the receipt. *face palm*

#2 Real red fits its name as it really reddddddddd!  Just like the chili padi type of red! It's a bright red!
#3 Orange red is a bright orange with red undertone that will suitable for most skin tones.

#2 Real Red

#3 Orange Red

Both colours are buildable which means you can apply it few times to get a more pigmented finish.  One thing I really like about this lip tint is its non-stickiness.  It feels light on the lips and gives great colour payoff that are perfect for Korean gradient lips makeup.

Well, there always cons behing the pros, right?  It disappears almost 50% after some light eating and vanishes after heavy eating (eg: meals).  I like to apply it as a base lip tint and another lip product on top of it so that my lips wouldn't look pale after the top one vanished after eating.
P/S: My lips is like my body thermometer, it reds in hot environment and pales in cold/air-con environment.

Here a test I run for its staying power after a wipe of normal wet tissue which means it's ok if you are drinking or eating lightly during the application.

So, overall I'm quite satisfied with this product since it is the mother of lip tint that gives inspirations to the lip tint available now in the market.  You can't ask more from these^^

Rating: 3.5/5

Till then, anyeong! ^^
