Etude House Dear Darling Tint in #2 Real Red and #3 Orange Red Review

Sorry for not posting for so looooooong~  It's been very busy lately since the semester is ending soon which means lots of assignments and tests are coming!!!  TnT...  So, today I gonna review the mother/ancestor of lip tint!  Guess some of you might know what product is that^^  Yup! It's Etude House Dear Darling Tint!

Those I have are #2 Real Red and #3 Orange Red.  I was actually looking for their new shade --- Vampire Red, BUT unluckily the Etude House Malaysia has not yet bring in this shade.  It's sad that Etude House Malaysia always bring in the new products slower than the other Asian countries.  *sobs sobs*

I have always want to try this lip tint as it is formulated in gel/jelly form which is very rare in lip products.  Even after it came out years, still it is one of the all time best seller of Etude House!  Guess it worth for a try :)
I got mine from a buy 1 free 1 promotion.  *sparks*

Price: 4,000 won / RM25.90 (since there was a Buy 1 Free 1 sales, approx. RM13 each) / 4.5g
***hopefully I didn't get the Msia's price wrong as I had lost the receipt. *face palm*

#2 Real red fits its name as it really reddddddddd!  Just like the chili padi type of red! It's a bright red!
#3 Orange red is a bright orange with red undertone that will suitable for most skin tones.

#2 Real Red

#3 Orange Red

Both colours are buildable which means you can apply it few times to get a more pigmented finish.  One thing I really like about this lip tint is its non-stickiness.  It feels light on the lips and gives great colour payoff that are perfect for Korean gradient lips makeup.

Well, there always cons behing the pros, right?  It disappears almost 50% after some light eating and vanishes after heavy eating (eg: meals).  I like to apply it as a base lip tint and another lip product on top of it so that my lips wouldn't look pale after the top one vanished after eating.
P/S: My lips is like my body thermometer, it reds in hot environment and pales in cold/air-con environment.

Here a test I run for its staying power after a wipe of normal wet tissue which means it's ok if you are drinking or eating lightly during the application.

So, overall I'm quite satisfied with this product since it is the mother of lip tint that gives inspirations to the lip tint available now in the market.  You can't ask more from these^^

Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Pact Review

As I have promised in the previous post, the second review for today is Innisfree No Sebum mineral pact.  This product is available in two forms which are the powder form (5g) and the pact form (8.5g).

Price: 12,000 won (RM44 through online dealer)

According to Innisfree, it can be use as:
1) Skin finishing powder
2) Makeup fixer
3) Soft and powdery effect
4) Oil blotting
5) Eye primer
6) Oil control on hair

It is formulated with Jeju natural mineral and natural originated mint.  It has 6-free system which are free of paraben, talc, artificial coloring, animal additives, mineral oil and artificial fragrance --> Typical nature friendly Innisfree products!

I bought the pact form since I'm afraid the powder form will get messy eventually.

It has a plastic cover which separates the content with the puff.  It has a mirror so it's perfect if you want to apply it outdoor.  Usually I apply it on my oily T-zone so that I'll be 'fresh' all day!  But now I just discovered a new usage of this powder which is eye primer.  Since my Etude House Proof 10 eye primer is almost finished, I have using this to prime my eyelid prior to eye makeup so that my makeup will last longer.

Before blending > After blending

As seen from the picture above, the powder will become invisible after you blend it.  It does give a smooth and cottony soft effects on the skin.

For those having oily skin, you can definitely give it a try!

The Face Shop Lovely ME:EX Pure My Lips in #3 Juicy Peach Review

It's been a while that I didn't posting new review here, so I will post two reviews including this one today!  Stay tuned!!!

Before I starts the review, I must confess that I'm a lip products lovers!!! I will just called myself as lipholic! XD
Okay!  Let's move to the review!  The Face Shop Lovely ME:EX Pure My Lips collection has 5 shades which are #1 Pure Red, #2 Celeb Pink, #3 Juicy Peach, #4 Lucid Purple and #5 Chic Brown.

Price: 4,900 won / RM19.90 (since there was a Buy 1 Free 1 sales, approx. RM10) / 4.5g

I got myself #3 Juicy Peach since I don't have much peachy/orange lippies.  I think it's a milky type lip gloss as it does have some glossiness when you apply on your lips.  The shade is really lovely which will give you a sweet and innocent look!  I can feel the stickiness on my lips so I always gently remove the glossiness by blotting my lips with a thin layer of tissue.  You can do the same thing whenever you find your lip products are too glossy or sheer for you :)

At first, I thought it will be very moisturized due to its milky texture, BUT it eventually dried my lips as time passes.  I am originally have dried and chapped lips so I always prefer balm type lippies over those in matte finish.  Therefore, this is a down for me!  Oh! It does transferred on objects in contact.

It doesn't last long since it's not a tint so it's forgivable.  The packaging tube is soooo cuteee! XD

How it look on my lips:
Before blotting with tissue paper > After blotting

For a price like that, you can't really ask for more :)  One thing I really like about this product is its shade!  Very nice when you're doing a double gradient lip (red in the inner part and light peach on the outer part).

Innisfree Color Glow Lipstick in #6 Maple Burgundy Pink Review

Although it's a bit late to review Innisfree Color Glow lipstick, I am doing this review today!  When this collection came out, my eyes were immediately caught by the promotional poster posts by Girls' Generation's Yoona:
The shade she wore is #6 Maple Burgundy Pink.  This burgundy does not look too mature yet gain a feeling of fall.  Burgundy is definitely the forever hit colour for the F/W.

The other shades in the same collection:

So I picked the #6 since I'm so into this shade of burgundy.

The shade ends up a little more pinkish with a slight burgundy undertone.  I was hoping to get the exactly burgundy shade that shown on the poster.  I was a bit disappointed but it's more wearable daily.  *convincing myself*

Price: 12,000 won / 3.5g

Introduction by Innisfree:
"An extreme smooth lipstick with camellia oil and melting formula."

It's has 3-free system which are free of animal additives, talc and benzophenone (chemical known to cause cancer and reproductive toxicity).

It's glides smoothly on the lips and very moisturizing too!  YAY for the chapped/dry lippers!  Since it's not a lip tint, thus you have to reapply every time after your eating.  Yes! It does transferred on objects in contact!  It has a mild scent which I don't know how to describe it... maybe it's the camellia oil?  definitely not the bad one.  You have to be careful while capping the lipstick as the lipstick since you probably don't want the lipstick stained all over the metal tube.

The colour is unique since I haven't seen such colour available in other brands in the market before.

It's a very good lipstick for those looking for a moisturizing and pigmented lipstick without harmful ingredients.  For me, it's just a bit down as I was expecting a deeper burgundy colour.

How the lipstick looks on me:
(Top): darker lighting / (Bottom): brighter lighting
The colour should looks darker but it appears lighter in the photos!  The picture at the bottom is closer to reality.

Innisfree The Shadow Pencil in #9 Dream of Lavender (Dual Type Pencil) Review

I'm back with another review today!  It is one of the best seller from Innisfree ——  the shadow pencil!!!  Here's the promotional poster:

#8 and #9 are the summer special released of 2014 whereas the #4 and #9 are dual type (has 2 shades in 1 pencil).

Price: 7, 500 won / 3.5g

The one I have is #9 Dream of Lavender, the dual type shadow pencil.  I was in dilemma since all the shades are gorgeous but I decided to buy only one for trying purpose since I don't know I will like it or not.  The dual types caught my eyes as I haven't seen 2 in 1 eye shadow pencil before.

I have used it for a few times before I wrote this review.  As you can see from the photo above, the amount of the product (3.5 grams) are not much!  But it should lasts you a while.  However, the white part seems parted more then the purple one! Not fairrrrrrr~

The two shades are actually lavender purple and white colours.  The shimmer particles are considered large as it's quite visible.  Girls who like shimmers will be loving this!  If you wants a softer look, you should blend it as soon you applied since it will set on your eyelids after about 1 minute.  After it has set, it's hard/impossible to blend it again!

You might want to apply in few layers to get a pigmented look or just once for a more natural daily look.  It glides easily and doesn't smudge once it's set on your eyelids.  Good news for those having oily eyelids or hidden eyelids.

Since it's a summer special released, it's waterproof!!! PLUS point!!!

It's easy to use and travel friendly too!

I use the purple shade on the upper eyelid and the white shade on the lower eyelid.  Since I prefers more natural look on daytime, I just apply it lightly.  For those who prefer pigmented products, you can always apply for a few more times for more pigmented look.

Innisfree The Green Tea Serum (2014 Upgraded Version) Review

I think most of the k-cosmetic lovers know about the famous Innisfree The Green Tea Serum as it is their all time best seller.  So, today I will be reviewed the latest 2014 upgraded version of this serum.  Innisfree has make some differences on the packaging box and the serum bottle to differentiate the old version and the latest version.  The packaging box of the 2014 upgraded version is more greenish and the letters printed has been rearranged.  Also, the bottle's pump of the upgraded version is brown in colour while the old version is dark green in colour.

The 2014 upgraded version is claimed to be double more moisturizing and being absorbed quickly by the skin within 3 seconds.

From the introduction by Innisfree:
"Enriched with green tea seeds and squeezed green tea from the pure Jeju island to deliver abundant moisture and nourishment deep into your skin."

Price: 22,000 won

Some information you may interested:

I have used this serum for 3 weeks and I found out it does its work!  I put on the serum before I put on The Face Shop Chia Seed Watery Toner and Watery Lotion.  My skin does feel more moisturize and soft compared to the time when I just put on the toner and lotion only.  I have noticed that my skin has reduced redness after using it for 3 weeks.

It has a milky & watery appearance which means you do not need lots of the product in each application.

It gives a dewy look initially after the application but the serum is fully absorbed by the skin within a few seconds, leaving soft and moisture feeling to the skin.  It does left a green tea scent but goes off eventually after some times.

Serum is used to boost the effects of your skin toner and lotion.  It will not give optimum effect alone.  So, do continue your daily routine right after the serum application.
