The Face Shop Lovely ME:EX You & Eyes Review

Today's review is The Face Shop Lovely ME:EX You & Eyes in No.24 Chocolate!  It's a single eyeshadow  from the "Ready To Be Gentle" line which is a matte finish line.

There's are multiple lines from the same Lovely ME:EX You & Eyes series:
> Ready To Be Gentle : neutral matte finish, for deep eye makeup
> Today Is All Night Party : glitter finish, for smoky eye makeup
> I Want Rainbow : striking, glittery, for fantasy eye makeup
> Make Color Paint : for vivid eye makeup

I like the design very much!! It's simple but classy :)  The transparent container gives you a clear look of the eyeshadow's shade immediately.  The homburgs pictures on the cover reminds me of the 20th century gentleman's fashion.  LOL!   The shade I chose is No. 24 Chocolate which gives a gentle, natural and some contour to the eyes.

If you observed carefully enough, you will find some tiny silver glitter on the palette which is unnoticeable when it is applied on your eyelids.
I have use this eyeshadow for months and I like it very much!!  I would say it is a multi-use eyeshadow.  I use it as eyeliner, eyebrow powder and of course eyeshadow!  There are days that I am lazy to put on eyeliner, so I will put it thinly along the shape of my upper eyelid and this gives a natural deep eye look :)

Since it is not water proof and smudge proof, it is not suitable for outdoor water activity.  But, it is definitely a daily wearable eyeshadow!  Undoubtedly one of my favourite!

Aritaum Full Cover BB Cream Review

Have you heard about Aritaum Full Cover series???  It gains much attention when the company reveals a video about a girl with many acne & redness on her face becomes flawless after apply the Aritaum Full Cover BB cream.  After I watched this video, I decided to give it a try!

I got myself No.2 Natural Beige!  I'm considering myself fair as I live in a sunny and humid country!  BUT! When buying Korean makeup, I always choose natural beige as they do have light beige.  Korean ladies are reallllllyyyyy fair!

It has SPF50+ which is quite high for a bb cream.  This is definitely a plus for those who always exposed themselves under the sunlight.  Also, it has anti-wrinkle and whitening properties!!!  For a volume of 50ml, it priced at 7000 won which is really cheap compared to the bb cream from other brands.

It is specially formulated for those who need high coverage for their skin imperfection/hyperpigmentation.

The company intense on the three ingredients that will be beneficial to the skin:

1. Rose water - nourishes the skin

2. Macadamia nut oil - creates a protective layer to the skin

3. Collagen extracts - gives elasticity and moisture to the skin

Since I have dry skin, I usually mix bb cream with my daily skin moisturizer/lotion (The Face Shop Chia Seed Watery Lotion)  in 1:1 ratio so that my skin does not cry for moisture later of the day.  But, noted that this will decease some degree of the coverage of the bb cream.

You can see the redness and acne scars of my skin from the picture on left before I apply the bb cream with sponge.  After I apply a thin layer of the bb cream, the redness and acne scars are much covered!  The coverage of this bb cream is definitely buildable which I think this bb cream can also act as concealer! LOL!

This bb cream gives matte finish rather than radiant finish.  If you want a more radiant/natural glowing finish, you can always mix it with some aura volumer or oil serum or moisturizer.

I think this is more suitable for combination skin since it gives a semi-matte finish.  For dry skin like me, you will need to prime your face with some moisturizer before applying this bb cream.

Innisfree New Creammellow Lipstick for Fall 2014

As the fall is coming soon, Innisfree has released new line of lipstick called "creammellow" since their creamy tint and color glow lipstick series are a great success.

Compared to the color glow series, the creammellow lipstick has more glossiness and definitely more moisturizing to match the dry weather of the coming fall.  Innisfree has already made their move, we shall wait patiently for the new products soon to be released from the other brands :)

Aritaum Honey Melting Tint Review

If you are a k-cosmetic holic, you will not unfamiliar with a brand called 'Aritaum'.  Aritaum is the sister brand for Laneige, IOPE, Mamonde, Hanyul, Odyssey and etc but more pocket-friendly among them.  All these brands belong to Amore Pacific, one of the large cosmetic companies in South Korea.  Today, I will make a review on the Aritaum honey melting tint which have been a big hit in South Korea.

There are 10 shades being released at first but 6 new shades are later being introduced during the summer of 2014 (Pic below).  You can see the summer series are mainly in orange and purplish shades.

I got myself no.7 coral candy and no.S16 lady dessert.

Both of them have sweet fruity smell that reminds me of candy!!!  The sweet smell does lingered for a while but disappear after some times.

Both of them are smooth in application and very moisturizing (I don't need to apply lip balm prior to the application).  

The colours are definitely buildable for those who likes vivid colour.

I wiped them off with a tissue paper with strength.  Both of them did left light stain on my wrist.  I have wore both of them for my recent outings, they do stained my lips even after I have some eatings in between.  The glossiness will eventually disappear throughout the wearing but you can still spot the light staining on your lips.  

This is more than expectation since it moisturizes and stains in one time!

Coral Candy (left) is a deep orange shade with red undertone which give you a healthy kissable lips.

Lady Dessert (right) is a lovely light peachy colour that will give you a natural look. 

This is definitely my new favourite lippie!  Feels like getting all the shades!
